Code of Conduct
Springs School prides itself in establishing a positive learning environment for all students, faculty, parents and community members. Each student has the right to learn in a safe and secure environment. Inappropriate behavior, which adversely affects the learning environment, will not be tolerated. Please review the Springs School Code of Conduct with your child. His/her teachers will discuss the policies, which are outlined in this very important document. This Code of Conduct is a vital part of daily student life, supporting a safe and secure learning environment.
It is essential that the school and the home work together to assure that all students meet the high expectations for behavior established in the Code of Conduct. This enables students to succeed in school and the community. Your support is vital in this process.
After you have reviewed the Springs School Code of Conduct with your child, please periodically review the contents with your child. Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 and their parents should be aware any behavioral offenses and infractions listed in this Student Code of Conduct will result in minor or major strikes, depending on the offense as determined by the administration. Three minor strikes equal one major strike. A student who has accumulated three major strikes will lose the privilege of attending class trips, beach picnics and other special privileges. Any Level 3 infraction results in an automatic removal from the trip and/or beach picnic and possible suspension.
We look forward to working with you and your child in making their educational experience an exceptional one!
